Stephanie O'Dell: Pioneering Change for Women Over 50

Stephanie O'Dell founded Celebrate the Gray to challenge the stereotype of women over 50 in media, offering advocacy and representation. She emphasizes redefining aging narratives, urging women to set their standards. O'Dell advises taking small steps, seeking support, and fostering community to pursue passions.

Her journey from a stockroom job to a successful stylist inspired her to question the absence of older women in fashion marketing, leading to the creation of Celebrate the Gray. O'Dell advocates for vocalizing one's age and experiences and engaging across generations to shift aging perceptions positively.

Ultimately, she encourages embracing possibilities and aspirations while challenging limitations associated with aging, urging individuals to ask, "Why not me?" This mindset shift can empower one to navigate their aging journey with confidence and purpose.
