On This Day In Womenā€™s History:

November 30, 1924: Shirley Chisholm was born.

Shirley Chisholm, the first African-American Congresswoman, (D-NY, 1969-83), the first woman, and the first African-American Democratic presidential nominee, received 151 delegate votes at the Democratic Convention in 1972.

šŸ„‘ Martha Stewart: Crafting a Timeless Legacy

In the 1970s, Martha Stewart embarked on her entrepreneurial path with a catering business. By the 1980s, it blossomed into a million-dollar empire. Transitioning into a multifaceted brand, Stewart's cookbooks gained immense popularity, laying the groundwork for her groundbreaking move.

At 50, she transformed her enterprise, launching Martha Stewart Living magazine in 1991. This led to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., housing TV shows, books, and an online presence. Despite legal challenges in 2004, Stewart rebounded, showcasing resilience.

Now 82, Stewart continues to captivate audiences with her VH1 show alongside Snoop Dogg. Her meal kit brand and 87 books contribute to her $300 million net worth, epitomizing her enduring influence and entrepreneurial spirit. Martha Stewart's journey stands as a testament to resilience, reinvention, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

We love celebrating women every day and Marthaā€™s story serves as a reminder to allow ourselves to dream big and imagine big.
