On This Day In Women’s History:

April 2, 1915: Soia Mentschikoff was born.

Lisa Gable: The Mind Behind the Ingenious Strap-Mate

In the bustling fashion world, Lisa Gable may not be a household name, but her groundbreaking creation certainly is. Faced with the frustration of slipping bra straps during crucial sales presentations, Gable took matters into her own hands. At the age of 70, she embarked on a quest for a solution. Unable to find one that suited her needs, she decided to innovate. Enter the Strap-Mate – a clever device designed to secure bra straps in place. Gable's ingenuity stemmed from her keen observation of a widespread issue and her determination to find a fix.

Her story encourages women to trust their instincts, identify problems, and fearlessly pursue solutions, no matter their age or background. By turning personal frustration into a successful invention, Gable empowers women to embrace their creativity and make a tangible impact in their fields.
