🎄Happy Holidays from the Live Well Now Team!

As the holiday season embraces us with its warmth and joy, I wanted to take a moment to extend heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday week filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

We created this platform with a deep sense of purpose - Founded by women to empower women like you.

I remember feeling lonely, heartbroken, and thinking the best years of my life were behind me. I tried to browse the internet for stories of inspiring women who are in their 40s, 50s, and beyond and would always come across stories celebrating young successes and very few celebrating women like me. I started saving stories that were inspiring to me, and eventually, a quest to motivate myself turned into a quest to celebrate women and motivate others.

I hope these stories inspire you and bring warmth to your heart. Your support and engagement mean the world to me and our team, and we look forward to bringing you even more stories of courage, determination, and success in the coming year.

From the depths of our hearts, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a New Year filled with boundless opportunities, growth, and empowerment.

With gratitude and warmest wishes,

Emma and Live Well Now Team

Lisa Vanderpump: Reality TV Star Turned Multifaceted Entrepreneur

Lisa Vanderpump's leap into the spotlight at 50 on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" marked the start of a dynamic career. Spanning nine seasons and spawning two successful spinoff shows, her TV journey was just the beginning.

In 2005, Vanderpump and her husband co-founded SUR Restaurant & Lounge, later becoming the focal point of her series "Vanderpump Rules." She expanded her television presence with "Vanderpump Dogs" in 2021, showcasing her dog rescue efforts.

Looking ahead, Vanderpump announced a new unscripted reality show, "Vanderpump Villa," set in her luxurious French villa and commissioned by Hulu in 2023.

Beyond television, Vanderpump's business portfolio flourishes. From her lifestyle blog to an array of alcoholic beverages, homewares, and pet accessories under "Vanderpump Pets," her entrepreneurial vision knows no bounds.

Her philanthropic contributions were honored with the Key to the City of Beverly Hills in 2011, accompanied by the declaration of "Lisa Vanderpump Day" on March 1, recognizing her charitable endeavors.

Lisa Vanderpump's journey epitomizes a seamless blend of reality TV success and entrepreneurial prowess, shaping a diverse and impactful career that transcends the small screen.

HUNGARIAN MUSHROOM SOUP

đź‘Ť Live Well Now Approved

You Will Need:

4 tablespoons salted butter

1 large yellow onion, chopped

1 pound cremini mushrooms, sliced

2 cups chicken or vegetable stock

1/2 cup dry white wine

2 teaspoons dried dill

2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme leaves

2 teaspoons paprika

1 tablespoon Worcestershire

1 teaspoon kosher salt

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice, from 1 lemon (optional)

2 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley (optional)

Directions:

1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. When the butter is melted, add onions and mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and translucent, about 8 minutes. Add the stock, white wine, dill, thyme, paprika, worcestershire and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to a simmer over low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces by â…“, about 10 minutes.

2. In a small bowl, whisk flour into the milk until smooth. Add the milk mixture to the soup and cook, stirring occasionally, until the soup begins to thicken, about 10 more minutes.

3. Over low heat, slowly stir in the sour cream, and lemon juice until fully incorporated.

4. Divide the soup into four bowls and top with fresh parsley to serve.

**Yields 5 cups of soup. If serving 4 people as a main dish, we recommend doubling the recipe.

To Freeze: Cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month. 24 hours before serving, place the soup in the refrigerator to thaw. Transfer to a soup pot set over medium-high heat. Cook the soup, stirring constantly until warmed through. The soup will look like it had separated at first but as it heats through it will come together nicely!
