Ghazal Qureshi: Revolutionizing Education Through Innovation and Vision

In the dynamic landscape of education, Ghazal Qureshi stands out as a visionary force, challenging traditional paradigms and shaping the future of learning. At the age of 51, in 2020, she embarked on an ambitious journey, founding UpBrainery Technologies with a mission to redefine online education. Fueled by the potent blend of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and a curriculum grounded in neuroscience, Qureshi swiftly garnered attention and forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Whataburger, Nasdaq, and the Girl Scouts.

The immediate impact of UpBrainery's innovative approach was further underscored in 2022 when the Department of Defense awarded the company a significant $5 million contract. This contract recognized the potential of UpBrainery's Career and Technical Education (CTE) tech platform, slated for deployment in military middle schools. Qureshi's commitment to reshaping education went beyond national boundaries, as UpBrainery's curriculum, spanning over 10,000 hours, now extends its reach to learners in 13 countries.

Before her groundbreaking venture with UpBrainery, Qureshi had already left an indelible mark on the educational landscape. In 2011, she founded IDEA Lab Kids, a franchise designed to empower children aged four to 14 to explore the realms of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Through a combination of online and in-person programs, IDEA Lab Kids provided an early glimpse into Qureshi's dedication to fostering a new generation of innovative thinkers.

Ghazal Qureshi's journey is a testament to the transformative power of combining technology, education, and a visionary spirit. As she continues to break new ground in the realm of global education, her legacy is one of inspiration and impact, proving that age is no barrier to reimagining the possibilities of learning for generations to come.

GARLIC BUTTER OYSTER MUSHROOMS RECIPE

đź‘Ť Live Well Now Approved | Low Calorie

You Will Need:

1½ pounds oyster mushrooms, cleaned, ends trimmed, and quartered

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil

3 tablespoons salted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

1. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the mushrooms in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd, and cook, working in batches if necessary, until mushrooms begin to just brown, about 7 minutes.

2. Reduce the heat to medium-high. Sprinkle the mushrooms with the salt and cook, undisturbed, until mushrooms start releasing their moisture, about 5 minutes. Add the olive oil and cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and edges are golden brown, about 8 minutes more.

3. Add the butter to the pan. Once the butter melts, add the garlic and cook, stirring often, until garlic is fragrant and mushrooms are coated, 2-3 minutes.

4. Sprinkle mushrooms with parsley and serve.

Note: The best way to clean dirt of mushrooms is with a dry paper towel!
