April 11, 1910: Annie Dodge Wauneka was born.

Annie Dodge Wauneka, elected to Navajo Tribal Council (1951-78), worked on tuberculosis epidemic using Navajo and the Bureau of Indian Affairs ideas, demanded funding for child health programs, awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom (1963).

In 2021, Eva Reda celebrated her 50th birthday with a groundbreaking career opportunity: leading American Express' inaugural consumer banking division. Tasked with spearheading the development of innovative digital banking services, Reda's vision aimed to empower customers to purchase homes, plan for the future and manage their finances seamlessly.

Despite organizational backing from American Express, Reda faced the challenge of building the digital infrastructure for these pioneering programs. This endeavor was particularly daunting given that American Express primarily focused on credit card services. However, Reda's determination and expertise propelled her forward.

With a remarkable 30-year tenure encompassing 16 diverse roles within American Express, Reda brought a wealth of experience to her new position. Her dedication to driving innovation and customer-centric solutions reflects her unwavering commitment to transforming the financial landscape.

SPINACH SALAD WITH PEACHES AND PECANS RECIPE

You Will Need:

Âľ cup pecans

2 ripe peaches

4 cups baby spinach, rinsed and dried

ÂĽ cup poppyseed salad dressing

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Arrange pecans on a single layer on a baking sheet and roast in preheated oven until they just begin to darken, about 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.

3. Peel peaches (if desired) and slice into bite-sized segments. Combine peaches, spinach, and pecans in a large bowl.

4. Toss with dressing until evenly coated, adding a little additional dressing, if necessary.
