🔬Dr. Carolyn Westhoff: A Decade of Dedication to Women's Health

At the age of 66, Dr. Carolyn Westhoff stands as a prominent figure in contraceptive research and family planning services, contributing significantly to the field at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University Medical Center.

Reflecting on her journey, she shares, "When I turned 60, I contemplated what would be worth accomplishing at work in the next 10 years. I chose to focus on enduring problems in the area of oral contraceptives, seeking ways to propel them forward.

In my 60s, I find myself calmer and wiser, drawing on a wealth of history when challenges arise. I'm grateful that the smart, idealistic young people I work with are not despairing; they're dynamite." Dr. Westhoff's commitment stands as a beacon in advancing women's health and addressing crucial issues in contraceptive research, showcasing her ongoing dedication to the betterment of healthcare for all.
