⛸️ Connie Curry: Breaking Age Barriers in Ice Skating

Ever hesitated to try something new because you thought you might be too old? Well, Connie Curry's story is here to change your perspective.

At the age of 60, after dreaming about it for a lifetime, Connie decided to embrace her dream of ice skating. Despite the inevitable tumbles, she persevered. Not only did she learn how to ice skating, but she proceeded to become the oldest competitor at the 2022 Adult Championships at the age of 83!

Connie's message goes beyond ice rinks. She encourages us to stop being overly critical of ourselves when venturing into new territories. Her life story is a testament to breaking self-imposed barriers – she didn't learn to read until college, but she defied the odds and expanded her horizons.

Above all, Connie's life imparts a valuable lesson: Reflect on your unfulfilled desires and go after them, no matter your age. Don't let life's opportunities slip away; seize them with courage and determination.
